I purchased these spoons for my wife as a gift. She is always baking and the measuring spoons are helpful to her- because they lay flat and are narrow enough to get in to small spice containers. She also likes the fact that they are magnetic, so they stack together. They are a nice supplement to traditional measuring cups.

I love this set of measuring spoons for the most obvious reason; they don't require a ring to prevent them from becoming separated during storage. I've found the ring on measuring spoons to be awkward during use sometimes, and even more awkward when washing and drying the spoons while using them. The spoons are sturdy and the set is handsome. I do agree with another reviewer that a 1/8th measure would have been welcome, but 1/2 the 1/4 tsp measure is close enough for as often as I need to use it. I highly recommend this set.

THIS SET PRETTY MUCH RETIRED MY OTHER SETS. THE ABILITY TO USE THEM WITH MY SPICES WAS THE MAIN REASON FOR MY PURCHASE. I WISH THE MAGNET WAS STRONG ENOUGH TO HANG THEM ON METAL OUTSIDE OF MY GADGET DRAWER AND THAT THEY WERE CONSTRUCTED A LITTLE HEAVIER, BUT OVERALL I WOULD BUY THEM AGAIN.
