I ordered this at the same time as the CorningWare French White casserole baking dish. After I opened it up, it would't fit over the baking dish! How silly.

Tight fit may be hard on some but the result is a leak resistant/proof lid that is impossible to obtain with the glass lid and is much tighter than plastic wrap can be. Too bad they don't come standard.

A must have for the CorningWare French white 1-1/2 Quart Round Casserole dish. It is so much easier storing leftovers and you are ablt to stack them on top of each. You won't regret it.
