Kaiser Bakeware's Set of 3 Tinplate Nested Springform Pans are made of the high-quality tinned steel preferred by traditional bakers for its performance. The smooth tinned surface and waffle design on the bottom creates a stick-resistant surface. The combination of the steel gauge and the silver color allow the pan to absorb the proper amount of heat to produce a perfectly brown crumb and a moist, tender inside. All Kaiser Bakeware pans are safe up to 450 degrees F in the oven. Reversible springform ring for right or left handed users. Dishwashing not recommended. Made in Germany. Diameters: 8", 9", 10"

 "Nice pans" 2010-01-21
By FatOrangeTabby (Lansing, MI)
These are a nice weight and don't have the non-stick finish, so you can use any kind of utensils on them without worrying about scratches. The buckles seem very well made and pop open easily for removing the bottoms. The only thing I find annoying is that the middle pan is more of a 9-1/2 inch pan than a 9 inch. I guess this doesn't really matter too much for most recipes, but the other two pans are dead on at 8 and 10 inches. Such a great price for all three, compared to what just one of the non-stick springform pans costs, and these will last forever.

Update:

Two cheesecakes later (with perfect results), and I'm very happy with this set. I wanted to note that although the pans are not rated to 500 degrees, the baking method I used to prevent cracking instructed me to bake the cheesecake for 15 minutes at 500 and then at 200 for another hour. I did this both times with no cracks or damage to the pans. While this might not be the smartest thing to do (always best to follow manufacturers instructions) I got good results. The cakes released easily from the pan when chilled and I had no problems with sticking.

I loves these pans, here is a hint though don't make something in them and give it as a gift. I think I've lost the bottom of one of the pans. I need to see if I can just buy extra bottoms!

I read reviews for this and that is what helped me decide to get them. I was a gift and they were very much liked. They have been used and they are great. The only problem is they want more of the same so they can make more than one at the same time of the same size. I would recommend them to anyone.

I'am a part time home baker. I use this for the acssional cheese cake. They work as needed and are the sizes called for in the rescepies. They also store nicely inside each other.
