These mini pie dishes were basically bought for the cute look, but when I bought them as a gift for my baking fanatical sister, it was all the rage. Now my mother wants them and my other sister wants a set as well.
They cook well, look wonderful against chicken pot pie (the white dishes), and you can take them from oven to table in one sweep. They're all sturdy and durable. The weight and quality of them are substantial. But they're not "heavy" to manage or wash.
It takes a lot to scratch them. We abuse them without a care.
I haven't tried the colors, but I might explore those next. White seems to be really beautiful with all table settings and foods.
