"Niece, age 6, really enjoyed this" 2010-04-26
By asiana (Chicago)
A six year old girl, brownies, and, "thank you, thank you, thank you." She loved it.

 "great set for beginners" 2010-04-05
By jgas (ca)
my 3-yr-old grand-daughter was so thrilled to actually do her own measuring and mixing (with a little help and direction) .. she stood and watched her cookies baking then couldn't wait for them to cool enough to use her own spatula to lift them from the baking sheet ..

this is a great "very own" set for beginners ..

"Toys are great - Bag is a bust!" 2009-09-05
By Amanda Chidister (Iowa)
This little set is so cute and my daughter loves it! The cooking utensils are well made and just the right size for little kids. However, the bag that holds them is a piece of junk. Both of the handles on ours ripped off fairly quickly so now it is just a bag with a zipper and no handles - it still works but it is too bad that the bag couldn't be as sturdy as the utensils. I still would recommend it for the toys but would find another container to put them in.

 "Exellent!" 2009-04-01
By M. Curnutt (Dallas, TX)
My 5-1/2 year old daughter uses this with her easy bake oven and LOVES this set. I also comes in handy when she wants to help me cook too. It's a great bargain, and some of the pieces are really quite nice, very usable in a real world setting.

 "fun for all" 2009-01-28
By Tamara L. Malone (Michigan)
this is a nice set, i've used a few of the pieces myself. My 3 yr old loves to help cook with now that he has his own tools.

"Cracked and warped really fast" 2010-04-11
By John Scott Tynes (Seattle, WA USA)
We were initially impressed with this wooden peel, but after just a few uses the wood began to split and it soon curled into an unusable warp. We never put it in the dishwasher and only gently scrubbed it off with warm water. However, we didn't treat it with mineral oil. If you're going to get this thing, get some mineral oil and be obsessive about taking care of it or it'll be a waste of money.

 "No complaints" 2010-03-27
By C. Danielson (Chicago, IL)
Works well! Conditioned with mineral oil after receiving it, and it has helped make many a pizza. It's quite large, but easy to store by just hanging the handle on a nail in the wall.

 "Pizza Peel" 2009-11-24
By P79tiger (Cincinnati, OH United States)
Nice and big will fit very large pizzas. Warped slightly first time I washed it. Now I wash both sides.

"Just make sure you have room" 2009-11-23
By Mary A. Phillips (Sarasota, FL)
This is the real thing. Previously I'd been using a little guy that had always fallen short. The only problem I have now is it doesn't fit it any of my cabinets or my pantry it's so big (23.25" from tip to tip and 14" wide). I can't even hang it on the end of one of my kitchen cabinets. I still love it and use it all the time, just need to find a good place to keep it that isn't sitting on the floor. Right now I have on the counter leaning against a wall.

 "Faulty Design" 2009-11-02
By A. Cave (North Carolina)
I bought my Sassafras Pizza on July 25th and treated it with food-safe mineral oil after each use. Now it has split down the middle, rendering it unusable! I cannot find a contact for problems like this on Amazon. Since I used this item quite often, I am very unhappy. A word to the wise: DO NOT BUY THE SASSAFRAS PIZZA PEEL.

"Love this little chef set." 2009-11-07
By MKinz (Salt Lake City, UT USA)
I took a cake decorating class with my 8 year old daughter and she needed an apron. After looking around for quite a while, we found this set. It is very cute and seems to fit well. She even loves wearing the chef hat that comes with it.

"A Chef in the Making" 2007-01-09
By B. Whitmore (Indianapolis)
This kit is very durable, and my daughter loves it. The hat is velcro and can be sized appropriately. The fabric is thick enough for good durability and washing.
