Unfortunately, all the parts of this kit are cheaply made. Unless you get a good deal, it's not worth paying for. Poor quality and hard to use, but it makes for some good frosting parties!

After wanting to continue my family tradition of making spritz for the Holidays, I started the long process of finding just the right spritz press. So many companies make plastic versions of spritz makers, but I really wanted a durable, long-lasting, metal one. I found exactly that in this spritz maker, it mostly metal construction (part of the top and the presser foot are plastic) and metal dies will last my family and I for years to come. The cookie sheet is a little tricky though, it scratches really easily. But since all I really wanted was the press, I'm really happy w/ my purchase. It made perfect cookies!

The cookie sheet is made of the cheapest material I have ever seen made into bakeware. Putting any amount of weight on this will cause it to bend. The press is antiquated mechanically and not reliable. The only item in this pack that is usable is the drying rack. The whole package wasn't worth the time it took me to click the submit button.

and it was only worth it because i needed a drying rack. Like the other posters stated, the cookie sheet is flimsy as well as the cookie press. but, if you just want to try out cookie pressing, and don't want to spend a lot of money to do it, this would be fine.

I bought this pan after pondering the price for months. I should have bought it sooner. The cakes come out well and the little filled "twinkies" are tasty and fun. I used Baker's Joy spray on the pan canoes and top (just a little, spread around with my finger in each well). I cooled the cakes in the pan for 7 minutes. None stuck ever. I used the twinkie recipe from The Little Whimsicle Bake Shop Little Cakes cook book (basically a red velvet cake recipe) which made 18 cakes. The "Best Filling" recipe that comes with the pan is delicious, light and not-too-sweet. I really was surprised at how easy the decorator tube filled the cakes. I have a Wilton filling-tip and don't like it nearly as well as the little plastic one that comes with the pan. Now I am going to buy myself another pan and also buy 3 more for gifts for friends/relatives. They are going to have a blast with this pan.
