The pans are very nice--great to make a professional cake with. They also arrived promptly. The only thing I might change is the number of petals--these are each 8 petal pans--I've seen more expensive pans with only 5 or 6 petals each. The reason I say this is because when you bake the smallest 8 petal cake, it is a little more difficult to retain the petal shape when frosting it.

I have just used these pans to bake a wedding cake and it turned out beautifully!! Everyone at the wedding couldn't stop complimenting on the design of the cake. Also, they are made of a very good quality aluminum which prevents them from rusting or chipping. Who wants a cake with chips of paint in it??? These pans worked great and were easy to clean. Silver pans are the way to go because of the heat in your oven. The only thing was the directions wilton gave. Fill the pans half full with the cake batter of your choice and cook on 300 until done, it will take an hour for the top tier and the time gets longer for each bottom tier.

This is a nice set of pans. I wanted 3-inch deep cake pans in a few different sizes and it just made sense to get the set (actually I bought two sets) just so I have all the sizes and because they can be a bit hard to find.



They work great and are very good quality. I wanted to use Magi-Strips on them to bake the cake more evenly but I've never seen them in a 3-inch width, so I made my own by folding damp paper towels inside long strips of aluminum foil and fastening them with paper clips and they worked great!
