This set is great. We recently got rid of our microwave to opt for fresher more healthier meals and this is the perfect set of containers for leftovers to be placed in the oven for the next day and warmed up. The plastic lids seal it tight for the fridge.

I trust Pyrex for microwave oven use and I bought this. Before I use it, why I need 2 covers? But one for microwave oven and the other for storing in refrigerator. The food from microwave was perfect. The cover for storing is tight. One thing, why their shapes are only rectangular, not square? Square shape might be better for heating and storing.

I recommend this for convenient microwave cooking.

Have used Pyrex brand products for almost 40 yrs now, since I 1st received bakeware & bowls as gifts - some of which I still use!! This brand always lives up to its name, its high quality glass & endurance has proven a winner over time - never seems to wear out! The minor improvements Pyrex has made thru the years is even better - have owned several sets & would never hesitate to purchase their products, which I LOVE is made in the USA (I'll even pay more to find USA products, which in the long run has proven to be cost-effective.) I wish that I would have read the previous reviews before buying this product. I bought three of these containers and the adhesive from the "Free Music" label is extremely difficult to remove. I have used a blow dryer, hot water, and rubbing alcohol in an attempt to remove the adhesive. After much work, some of the adhesive remains. I'll keep the one that I worked on, but the other two containers are going back to Amazon.

We like the way that these units nest. We also like the tops. The glass top is great for cooking, since it self-vents. The plastic top is hard to get on, but we imagine it will become easier with time.



Strangely, we must agree with the "grouchy" review. The glass tops come with a weird label on them that has some kind of industrial strength adhesive that is very, very, very hard to remove. We ended up getting it off with isopropyl alcohol and a razor scraper. But why do that? Pyrex has really made a big mistake in the adhesive choice.

The containers would be fine, but the stickers glued to the top take about 10 minutes to scrape off with a knife, then a treatment with GoofOff, a round in the dishwasher, and there is still goop on the glass. If I had known that this was going to happen I would NOT HAVE BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT! I will not buy any more from here on.

The sticker that told me that my "cooking problems were solved" came off OK but the one for the "Free Music" caused all the problems. Yeah! I buy Pyrex to get "free music". What idiot comes up with this kind of stuff?

I just got these for Christmas and I'm in love already.

The lids on these are great. My sister in law has a set that's a bit older and it's SO hard to get the lids off of the rectangular ones. These are very well designed with big tabs that you just pull up to open. I also feel like they have a great seal.

These are going to be so great for entertaining because we'll be able to cook in them, throw the lids on and go.

Also, I won't have to make brownies in my non-stick pan anymore and end up cutting up the non-stick coating when I go to slice the brownies.

I've only been using these for a week, but I already totally love them!
