The wife loves these bowls. They are sturdy and when she creates something that needs to be refrigerated or not used immediately, the covers fit like a glove. They were not overpriced as far as I can tell and if my wife is happy, so am I.

I purchased these 2 sets of these bowls based on Amazon reviews. The lids pop off in the fridge even when putting cool items in for storage; they also curl up in the microwave. The glass is very ordinary, nothing special. Since I bought them to use as a convenient way to reuse leftovers I wasted my money, I had plenty of other better mixing bowls.

Nearly "vertical" sides, so mixing with a hand-blender works better than other brands.
We ordered a second set after using the first set we purchased for a month or so.
They come with lids, so they seem to end up storing food in the refrigerator on a regular basis... thus the second set was needed :)
Price was very good, but you will still need to buy a 4-Quart or 5-quart bowl separately because this set doesn't have one in that size range.

These bowls are great. They are very deep for mixing things up and the lids seal really well. These are the first bowls that I grab when needing to store something. Very nice product.
