This is an excellent set of high quality baking pans that deliver quality results consistently. With these standard sizes, its a good starter set as well. These pans don't rust and don't have non-stick coatings to get scratched and start peeling into your baked goods (delivering who-knows-what-kind-of-chemicals as well!)I expect this set to last me a lifetime, and while I have added other pieces from Chicago Metallics to my bakeware to finish a basic set up, this was the cornerstone set. Cakes come out more evenly baked, cookies bake consistently, bread bakes consistently and muffins/cupcakes are consistent. I was so tired of pulling pans out of the cupboard after months of disuse only to discover that they were crusted with rust (Gotta love Louisiana's humidity!)or discovering that the non-stick coating was starting to peel, rendering the pan useless. I also did not like how cookies baked on a non-stick cookie sheet, nor how cakes reacted to the non-stick finish.
I'd buy this again, and I'd recommend this set to anyone who was serious about baking.

I've been baking for over 50 years now, using many various brands of bake/cookware. Chicago Metallic is the best, hands down. I prefer the Commercial line and have been using it for several years. It's very easy to clean, foods cook perfectly, and never, ever stick. I highly recommend this superior product line.

I purchased this set as part of a Christmas gift and was so disappointed when my daughter called to say one of the baking sheets had a puncture in it.Pretty disappointing to her when she was ready to bake cookies!

America's Test Kitchen highly recommends Chicago Metallic bakeware. I love this set. It is very sturdy without being too heavy. This is perfect for baking as it doesn't burn or over-brown baked good like some non stick bakeware does.
