I was very impressed with this cookie press until I took it apart to clean it. The stainless steel tube is lined with a plastic tube that is not removable and there was cookie dough stuck between the two tubes. No matter how hard I tried to clean it, it wouldn't come out. I refuse to use any kitchen utensil that I'm not able to clean properly. This was a waste of money since I was only able to use it once and throw it away!! I did however order the Kuhn Rikon all clear plastic cookie press (NO stainless steel) for my daughter and it seems like it will be great. She hasn't used it yet but based on how well mine worked (but wasn't able to be cleaned) and the ability to clean this one I think it will have all the advantages of a cookie press that works well AND is able to be cleaned!!

when I bought this cookie press, there wasn't any review, so I decided to give it a try. I'm very impressed with this product, even tho it is my 1st cookie press, I only use cookie cutter before. it only 1 click (push) then the cookies came out nice & great shape *(I uploaded my pics, go check it out) it come with 4 cookie recipes, but I didn't try it yet, I use my own butter cookie recipe in the pics. I'm very happy with this product !

This cookie press it utterly awful. In the past I have used my mother's old fashioned crank press and in this situation, older is better! The way the plastic top and bottom fit to the stainless is ridiculous. I highly doubt a person who cooks frequently designed this because they do not screw on--there are small little groves that must line up and then it turns to "lock in." If the bottom and top were also stainless steel, perhaps this would work, but the fact that this plastic is semi-flexible, it does not maintain it's shape under the pressure of the cookie pressing and therefore pops off. At first I thought I didn't them locked in enough, but they (both top and bottom!) were popping off while clearly in the locked position. I am usually an old fashioned cook, and this just proves the point that older, better made products (with no f*ing plastic!) is highly superior to the junk that is out there for sale. I would never recommend this product to anyone.
