 "Run the other direction" 2010-06-01

Do not waste a penny on this item!!!! It doesn't work, not even the pan and cooling rack is worth the purchase! They just don't make cookie presses like they used to.

"Not what I was hoping for" 2008-06-29

Unfortunately, all the parts of this kit are cheaply made. Unless you get a good deal, it's not worth paying for. Poor quality and hard to use, but it makes for some good frosting parties!

"Great set for the price!" 2008-03-05
By Jessica Flodine (Kingsville, TX USA)
After wanting to continue my family tradition of making spritz for the Holidays, I started the long process of finding just the right spritz press. So many companies make plastic versions of spritz makers, but I really wanted a durable, long-lasting, metal one. I found exactly that in this spritz maker, it mostly metal construction (part of the top and the presser foot are plastic) and metal dies will last my family and I for years to come. The cookie sheet is a little tricky though, it scratches really easily. But since all I really wanted was the press, I'm really happy w/ my purchase. It made perfect cookies!

"Not worth it at any price" 2008-02-29
By L. Diring
The cookie sheet is made of the cheapest material I have ever seen made into bakeware. Putting any amount of weight on this will cause it to bend. The press is antiquated mechanically and not reliable. The only item in this pack that is usable is the drying rack. The whole package wasn't worth the time it took me to click the submit button.

and it was only worth it because i needed a drying rack. Like the other posters stated, the cookie sheet is flimsy as well as the cookie press. but, if you just want to try out cookie pressing, and don't want to spend a lot of money to do it, this would be fine.

"Kuhn Rikon Stainless Cookie Press" 2010-01-17
By Tina Marie (Seattle, WA)
I was very impressed with this cookie press until I took it apart to clean it. The stainless steel tube is lined with a plastic tube that is not removable and there was cookie dough stuck between the two tubes. No matter how hard I tried to clean it, it wouldn't come out. I refuse to use any kitchen utensil that I'm not able to clean properly. This was a waste of money since I was only able to use it once and throw it away!! I did however order the Kuhn Rikon all clear plastic cookie press (NO stainless steel) for my daughter and it seems like it will be great. She hasn't used it yet but based on how well mine worked (but wasn't able to be cleaned) and the ability to clean this one I think it will have all the advantages of a cookie press that works well AND is able to be cleaned!!

 "I'm surprisingly impressed :-)" 2009-12-10

when I bought this cookie press, there wasn't any review, so I decided to give it a try. I'm very impressed with this product, even tho it is my 1st cookie press, I only use cookie cutter before. it only 1 click (push) then the cookies came out nice & great shape *(I uploaded my pics, go check it out) it come with 4 cookie recipes, but I didn't try it yet, I use my own butter cookie recipe in the pics. I'm very happy with this product !

 "Terrible cookie press" 2009-12-06
By K. Hinckley (MA)
This cookie press it utterly awful. In the past I have used my mother's old fashioned crank press and in this situation, older is better! The way the plastic top and bottom fit to the stainless is ridiculous. I highly doubt a person who cooks frequently designed this because they do not screw on--there are small little groves that must line up and then it turns to "lock in." If the bottom and top were also stainless steel, perhaps this would work, but the fact that this plastic is semi-flexible, it does not maintain it's shape under the pressure of the cookie pressing and therefore pops off. At first I thought I didn't them locked in enough, but they (both top and bottom!) were popping off while clearly in the locked position. I am usually an old fashioned cook, and this just proves the point that older, better made products (with no f*ing plastic!) is highly superior to the junk that is out there for sale. I would never recommend this product to anyone.

 "DO N-O-T BUY THIS EVEN @$4.99" 2010-03-04
By Neel
The title says it all. This is probably the worst kitchen tool ever made. The thing broke during its first use. It simply feels like a tinker. The serrated teeth easily bend. The spring action does not work afterwords. If you unscrew the top assembly, spring just falls off and there is no easy way to reassemble. I should have noticed the brand name.

"Good for the price, I guess." 2010-02-08
By Kathys376 (H. Texas)
This was my first cookie press I ever bought. Happy with the price, you get what you pay for though. Worked great for animal cookies and peanut butter but some of them stuck to the press. Small kids enjoyed it. After several, about a years worth of use it broke. Still can use it but it sticks & some times wont 'shoot'. Now in search for another one because this one has got me hooked, only if it didn't break.

 "broke on second use" 2009-12-22
By Jeff
We used this twice for making spritzes, and on the second batch the plastic cap on the end of the plunger (which pushes the dough out) developed a large crack in it. This resulted in most of the cookie dough squirting up into the chamber (where it's not supposed to be) and we had to quit. Granted, we didn't pay a lot for it, but I had hoped for better quality from Sunbeam.

 "Very Disappointed" 2009-12-13
By Robert C. Thompson (Tallahassee, Florida)
I purchased this cookie press less than two weeks ago and used it twice.

The third time I used it I noticed cookie dough coming out the side of

the plastic cookie dough holder. It is plastic and had a crack in it from

top to bottom. I was very disappointed. I like Sunbeam products but should

have known you get what you pay for!

 "Nice cookie press" 2009-04-14
By Guitar Maker (Holland, PA)
I found this cookie press to be easy to use and made very nice cookies. It worked well even with prepared Pillsbury Sugar cookie mix, but the Pillsbury cookies didn't hold their shapes very well after baking. If a standard spritz type cookie mix is used I got very nice shaped cookies.
