This is an adorable and functional baking set, and I've never had any problems with it in the oven. The things I've made have all baked up nicely, and the silicone is surprisingly heat-resistant. I definitely wouldn't imagine that these pliable rubber pieces would be suitable for the oven, but low and behold, they stand up well. Be aware that this item seems to be prone to staining - description says "dishwasher safe" but unless it's rinsed completely, food not only seem stick to the silicone, but become embedded into it after a heat dry cycle in the washer. I have gotten several black stains that wont budge from brownie baking, and the stains really take away from the attractiveness of the pink. I've also learned that though the description indicates a nonstick coating, (which they do have) I definitely use additional non-stick cooking spray with these as its just so much easier for food to slide out. Turning the pieces inside out to remove food without non-stick spray makes my muffins and cupcakes break apart. Also, to the other reviewer with the overheating issue - I would NOT recommend using the bake sheet in the oven. It's really more of a baking mat: definitely too thin and flimsy for oven use as a cookie sheet. I actually leave mine on the counter as a prep mat - its works GREAT for non-stick prep like kneading bread or making pasta. Plus its a great decorative piece for my kitchen. Other favorites are the potholder/trivet and the ramekins; excellent addition to my table.

I PURCHASED THIS ITEM FROM TARGET. WITHIN MINUTES IN A 400 DEGREE OVEN MY SMOKE ALARM SIREN STARTED TO RING. I NOTICE GRAY SMOKE IN MY HALLWAY, LIVING ROOM AND KITCHEN. I REMOVED THE BAKE SHEET FROM THE OVEN AND NOTICE SEVERAL WHITE MARKS ON IT. I CALLED TARGET AND I AM RETURNING THIS ITEM......AND NOT FOR A REPLACEMENT!
