I got this product for Christmas and was so excited to use them. I am known as the "family baker" and the baker at work. I use a lot of "wilton" brand products. I've used all of the products in the 5-piece set. They all work wonderfully and have the non-stick protectant.



I would definitely buy more products from Calphalon based on my experience with bakeware set.



Be sure to read the instructions on the bottom of the box about appropriate usage. It is just a few simple things but will help your product last a long time and stay in good condition.

Did I say it is non-stick? And that is one of the best parts. The non-stick really works, too. How handy it is to have readily available a pan for either or all of 5 different baking sessions. i registered for these after reading reviews (everywhere but amazon or i would have thought twice) and seeing them at bed bath and beyond. i liked that they were not too heavy, nonstick, hard anodized and i thought the calphalon name was a good one. i got the set and 3 pieces had already been slightly damaged due to the packaging rubbing too hard against the non stick surface. i didn't think it looked too bad though and decided to keep them. storage was a whole other problem. i don't have a pot rack and used to keep my old set nested inside each other in the drawer under my stove. since the finish will get scratched if they rub against each other i had to completely reorganize my cabinets so i could find space for all of the pieces. i ended up nesting them anyway but have to keep an old dish towel between each piece so nothing touches. about a week after getting them i made pasta in one of the pots. i added some basil, oil, red pepper flakes and garlic salt and stirred it (with a wooden spoon) around until i heard and felt it scratch. i dumped out the pasta and there was a 3 inch scratch from the garlic salt i guess. so that did it for me. i know you are supposed to be careful with the nonstick finish and i am. i have all silicone, nylon or wooden utensils. i clean them properly. but it is too much of a hassle now worrying the food will scratch it too. i am returning this set today and buying a stainless steel set.

The main purpose of non-stick cookware is easy cleaning. That purpose is totally defeated in this cookware because the nonstick interior is interrupted by the aluminumin rivets with which the handles are attached - food sticks to them, and around them. I am soooo sorry I bought this!! I was replacing 20-year old T-Fal that was simply worn out. I should have stuck with T-Fal (bad pun intended).

I was given this set a year and a half ago and so far have had to send back three pieces because of the nonstick finish. I will say I like cooking with the anodized - it heats faster and retains heat well so it is easier to cook with. But the nonstick finish they put on this cookware is terrible. It flakes off and scratches easily. I baby them, follow all directions, etc. only use silicone or wood utensils. In my opinion the surface should not scratch if you are using an approved utensil. Calphalon has been good about honoring their warranty and have replaced everything I sent back so far but I am getting tired of having to keep sending things back. As money permits I am gradually replacing mine with Le Creuset. I don't know if the higher end Calphalon is better, but I can't bring myself to spend the money on it with the experience I've had with this set.

I purchased this set at the beginning of December and it came with a 12" everyday pan free. Overall I am very happy with this set. It is made in the USA, although the free everyday pan is made in China. I have owned several other pieces of Calphalon nonstick cookware, some made in the USA and some in China. It has been my experience that the Calphalon made in the USA under goes stricter quality control tests and the nonstick coating last longer. On a side note Calphalon pieces stamped "Toledo, OH" on the bottom are made in the USA. These piece are made in the spirit of the legendary Calphalon quality. Calphalon pieces made in china are of average quality at best.



I enjoy cooking with this set because almost nothing sticks and when it does clean up is a breeze. Usually I just fill the pan up with soapy water, wipe it with a sponge and anything cooked on comes right off. The silicone covered handles stay cool. These pans are not dishwasher safe and you can not use cooking spray on them. Only use plastic or wooden utensils on low to medium heat.

A great set of cookware. Heats evenly and cleans easily. Beware...these cannot be washed in a dishwasher...if so, it voids the warranty. Luckily foods don't stick. There are a few tips on how to keep foods from sticking if there are issues. Also, you can't use cooking spray like Pam in them. A drop of olive oil is all you need in most cases. I love them!

We purchased this set from another venue.



When you first open the box and see the new set you are thrilled. Especially if your old set that you just replaced was horrible.



BUT after you have had it a while you start to realize that owning this set of cookware requires a LOT of effort on your part to keep it looking nice.



The bottoms darken easily and need constant attention to make them look good.



On our particular set, the largest saucepan interior was "bubbled". Well....we are NOT everyday cooks in this house and it only took a few months for the interior finish to begin chipping off the pan.



We had to go out and buy all new utensils and special scrubbers etc. to clean these pans. Most things we had in our drawer just didn't work well with this set. Stick a metal fork in it once and IT'S DONE!



Remember....NO dishwashers, NO metal utensils, NO harsh chemicals, NO abrasive scrubbers, NO cooking spray, NO stacking of pans, NO contact with other surfaces or the exterior WILL scratch!



In short....these pans take your full attention but when you buy anything worth having, you are willing to expend the extra energy and time to take good care of it.



If it weren't for the interior surface chips, I would have to give this set an "ALMOST PERFECT" score!!!!!

I bought these as a replacement for a set , from another brand , that were awful , they did all the bad things that a prior reviewer spoke of buckling etc.



Prior to this , I had owned a professional collectors version of this set . After 5 years of heavy use and some abuse , it was time to replace them . I couldn't find the same set, they don't make them any more . I went with the lesser brand and was very disappointed.



This set works great , I made a batch of cookies tonight , they cooked evenly , the sheet was stable and clean up was a snap. My only bug-a-boo with this set is is has Calphalon in big raised letters on the cooking side of the sheet , right smack in the middle ... I don't like the thought of one of my cookies being labeled lol so I used one of my silicone baking mats on top of it.

These are decent pans, but you can find less expensive at similar quality. However, they are not entirely warp proof. What is more maddening is that I have two generations - an older pan that is marked 13x18 in size and is the exact same size as the newer pans that are indicated as 12x17 in size!

Large, sturdy pans work great. I haven't experienced the "bong" sound from heating/cooling that other pans make. No complaints. Recommended.

I took a chance on buying these and am happy I did. They are very nice. I have some calphalon pots and pans and don't like them at all.
