It is 4" long by 2.25" wide at the top of the cavity; 3.5" long by 1.75" wide at the bottom of the cavity; just slightly over 1.25" deep. In other words, it is most definitely petite... some might even consider it tiny. Perfect for baking personal-sized or sample-sized breads/cakes/meatloaf/etc. Too small (in my opinion) if one's intent is to bake goodies in it for gifting ONE loaf to a household consisting of 2 or more people.



It's not non-stick but if you grease the inside of the pan's cavity lightly, the baked good slides out of the pan easily. (I have not yet needed to run a knife along the edges nor to thump the bottom of the pan to coax out the bread/cake.)



Inside the cavity of the loaf pans are flat surfaces with curved edges and curved corners that make washing/cleaning these pans very easy.



Craftsmanship and quality of material are good. I've used my set almost once a week since I got it about a month ago and the pans have not warped, dented, nor rusted.

This pan is NOT larger inside; only the outer fluted rim is larger. It will not hold a 1 1/2 or 2 pound loaf of bread. The disposable foil ones from the local grocery store work better.

Slice Solutions has created a sectioner 9" Loaf Pan that is sized perfectly for the pan that you place into the batter before cooking. One cooked and cooled the sectioner is removed and you have 8 perfectly sliced, perfectly sized, cake slices! Problem 2: Removing the cake slices from the pan is not easy, even with a small turner you tend to crush at least the first one or two loaf slices just to get into the pan. Slice Solutions has developed a pan with a removable bottom that eliminates this issue. After removing the sectioner you place the entire pan, centered, on the included wire lifting rack. In doing so, the removable bottom stays on this rack and the outer pan drops underneath allowing for you to easily use a small turner to remove the loaf slice.
