 "Not as shown" 2009-01-12
By Lamar (Grants Pass, Oregon)
I purchased this jelly roll pan as a Christmas present for my wife because of the high reviews and most importantly because as pictured, the labeling said Made in USA. This is a very important feature fo me. When I received the item I looked at the stick on label, which looked almost like the one pictured, but could not find Made in USA anywhere. Instead after looking very hard I found in very small print marked "Made in China". I believe the manufacture is now trying to hide the fact that a good product which was previously made in USA is now made in China. I hope this review will help other people who shop as I do to not be mislead as I was.

"why it is better to buy in person" 2009-07-04
By M. Howton (Morgantown, WV USA)
This pan is NOT larger inside; only the outer fluted rim is larger. It will not hold a 1 1/2 or 2 pound loaf of bread. The disposable foil ones from the local grocery store work better.

 "love it" 2010-01-21
By Linda (Lindenwold, NJ USA)
use it all the time for baking when I want "flat" tops.... great for pineapple upside down cakes... elimates splitting when cake is flipped.

 "Great Product." 2009-08-17
By B. G. Van Deventer
I love these strips. I have baked several cakes since I received these, and they all came out perfectly level. I've even used them on rectangular pans with wonderful results. The pins that come with the strips are a little difficult to use at first, but once I figured that part out, they were easy enough to use. I have heard that all-metal binder clips can be used instead of the pins, so I might try that in the future.

 "even & level cakes" 2008-06-19
By Kristi Jacobsen (Cincinnati, OH)
These strips are great! Most people won't need the large size; however, I bake cakes in 14, 12, 10 inch diameter pans, and I was surprised at how even my cakes started turning out when I used these. Before they used to rise unevenly and dome in the center. Now they're level all around, which is a big help when stacking tiers. I clip mine together using mini metal binder clips.

 "Bake Even Strips" 2007-01-03
By Mindy Scott
The Bake-Even Strips do exactly what they advertise....they keep the edges of the cake from cooking too much faster than the middle of the cake, which makes for a more even cake. The strips are fastened with straight pins, which is cumbersome, especially when they're wet and don't want to stay on the pan. As a baker, I consider them worth the hassle of using, but would like to see a simpler application.

 "Baked taco salad shells" 2010-03-04
By Graven
Clean up is a breeze with these pans. Finally, taco salad without having to have fried shells. The tortillas bake quickly in these pans.

 "Fun and Healthy" 2010-01-03
By Debra Staehler (WAUSAU, WI, US)
Heavy duty, good quality bakeware and a healthy alternative to the deep fat fried shells. Great Gift for a friend.

"Restaurant Style Taco Salad Shell Pans" 2009-09-25
By S. Boyer (LasVegas NV)
This is a great set of Tostada Salad Shell / Taco Salad Bowl Pans.

I used burritos size flour tortillas

I brushed both side lightly with oil and baked

They tasted Wonderful!

 "Great Mold" 2009-05-11
By JenniferTN (Tennessee)
This item works great! You should note, however, that if you're using smaller (taco size) tortillas this mold will be too large.

"have bought more than once" 2008-12-16
By Jill
These pans are great for making "healthy" taco salad tortilla bowls. You bake and not fry. Easily lay the tortilla in the fluted bowl, bake and they come out crispy and healthy. The cooking time is very fast and you can store in Tupperware containers for days. Non stick. I make them all the time. A great idea for get togethers as friends can pick whatever extras they like. I have had relatives request the pans so I have ordered more for gifts for them. They are thrilled every time! They are durable and will last forever.
